Work carried out
- Strip and blast engine cases
- Polish cases to spec
- Clean all parts
- Replace all screws with stainless
- Check and shim all gearbox main shafts
- Clean crank oil feed ways
- Fit new crank sludge plug
- Replace small end bush
- Reshim crank
- Reshim all bevel drives
- Replace all seals
- Hone barrel
- Replace valve guides
- Stelite weld camshaft and regrind and reprofile.
- Stelite weld cam followers and reprofile
- Weld cylinder head exhaust stub and recut thread
- Make good wiring from alternator
- Recondeition gear selector box and reshim all working parts
- Rework bottom bevel half dog sleeve
- Reshim timing side gears and change worn bronze bush on points drive gear.
- Strip clutch and clean all parts using vapour blasting.
- Replace missing thick thrust washer.
- Secure clutch plate bolts (lose)
